Does weasel mean your from the Genus Mustela or family Mustelidae?
It is true that all weasels are belong to the family Mustelidae. There some weasels that are in a different genus besides Mustela. The weasels that are in a different genus are Patagonian weasels (Lyncodon patagonicus) and African striped weasels (Poecilogale albinucha).
